This is genius! It is a ridiculous time-saver and so efficient. Very easy to understand and lays it all out so you can easily make a choice AND make the purchase or redemption. Love it!

For Safari users: Click here to find Points Path in the Apple App Store, then click “Get” and “Install.”
For Chrome and other browsers: Click here to find Points Path in the Google Web Store, then click the blue “Add to Chrome“ button at the top right corner of the page. You can use the same Google Web Store version in many Chromium browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave, and Arc.
When you search with Google Flights, Points Path performs an identical flight search with each of its covered airlines, but requests prices in points or miles instead of cash. The results are then combined with Google’s results, so you’re always seeing the most up-to-date pricing available from both Google and the airlines themselves.
Points Path currently only works on desktop and laptop computers. However, we are working on a version of our Safari extension that will run on iPhones and iPads, and expect to launch it in the third quarter of 2025. Android devices do not support browser extensions.
In the free extension, Points Path offers award pricing for the frequent flyer programs of American, Alaska, Delta, JetBlue, and United. Paid Pro tier and Founders Club members also get access to Air Canada, Emirates, Qantas, Virgin Australia and Virgin Atlantic. All tiers include domestic and international flights on the airlines themselves, as well as flights with partner airlines.
Yes! We’re already working on adding more programs, and you’ll be seeing them very soon.

The basic version of the Points Path extension is completely free, and includes real-time true roundtrip points pricing for the US domestic airline programs, as well as showing the bank transfer programs related to those airlines, indicators when a transfer bonus is in effect, and our deal recommendation arrows. Points Path Pro is a paid upgrade that adds additional airlines, price tracking alerts, a 7-day points calendar, and other features.

This message indicates Points Path didn’t find any points or miles results for that particular flight. This could be for several reasons — either the flight isn’t currently available with points or miles in any of Points Path’s covered frequent flyer programs, or Points Path doesn’t currently support that airline, or an error occurred. You can click the small “i” icon under the message to see more details on each of the above.
Remember that points pricing and availability change constantly, and a flight that isn’t available with points right now might become available in the future.

You can use any currency with Points Path, but in order for the extension to run properly, the language option in Google Flights must be set to "English (United States)." Also, you must use the basic dot-com version of Google Flights at flights.google.com — regional versions of Google Flights will not work.

Yes. While the visual experience is a bit cluttered, the two extensions will work together (and we plan to make this integration even more seamless in the future).
While we’ve received reports of users successfully installing and running Points Path on other Chromium-based browsers, the only browsers we officially support are Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave, and Arc.
Yes! All extensions submitted to the Apple App Store and the Google Web Store undergo reviews by Apple and Google for security and safety before being permitted to publish or update. Points Path complies with all policies and guidelines of both stores, and contains no harmful or malicious code.

You can read our complete Instructions guide, which has additional questions and answers, or you can click on the “Contact” link in the top right corner of this page and send us an email. We love hearing from our users, so don’t be shy!
