Big business travel programs from loyalty brands are great for, well, big businesses. But there’s one small-business option that deserves a closer look and is surprisingly easy to maximize.
Hilton for Business is free to join, open to virtually any small or medium-sized company, and offers valuable bonus points along with access to special rates. There’s no minimum spending, no employee requirement, and no fine print headaches.
If you ever book a Hilton stay for work, there’s zero reason not to sign up. Here’s why you’re leaving free points on the table if you don’t and how to get started.

In case you missed it...
Want a warm ocean in winter? Thank ABCHilton for Business works alongside your personal Hilton Honors account. You register using your existing Hilton Honors login, add your company details (name, address and domain-based email), and invite employees to join under the same business umbrella.
The main requirement here is that your email must match your company's domain. Hilton specifically states that you can’t register with a free email address like Gmail or Yahoo.
Once you apply, approval typically takes up to three business days, after which you can start booking through your business profile.
The biggest reason to join is the extra points. When you book stays under the business rate, you’ll earn bonus points on top of the points you normally earn personally:
These points go into the company’s account but can be transferred to any Hilton Honors member, including yourself.
Meanwhile, the traveler still earns their usual Hilton Honors points and elite benefits and can pay however they like (though I recommend a co-branded Hilton card), so it’s a win-win for everyone.

A great travel backpack is essential, and the best one depends on your trip. Whether you need a spacious carry-on replacement or a compact daypack, features like a laptop sleeve, water bottle holder, and multiple compartments make all the difference. From the rugged Cotopaxi to the budget-friendly Matein, there’s a backpack for every traveler’s needs. But with so many backpacks on the market, which ones are the best? Take a look at our top picks — each one packed with the features we love!
See our list of favorite backpacksAs a Hilton for Business member, you’ll be able to book special business rates.
To find them, log in to your Hilton Honors account linked to your business, toggle the “traveling for business” option and eligible rates will appear.
The business rates aren’t anything to get too excited about, but they typically get you slightly (read: a few dollars) cheaper nightly rates compared to the standard flexible rates and often include more flexible cancellation policies. Sometimes, they may also come with extras — for example, my recent business stay at the DoubleTree Golf Resort Palm Springs included free breakfast.
Just remember that not all properties participate, so it is worth toggling between the public and business rates when comparing options.
If your team (or even just you) stays at Hilton properties a few times a year, Hilton for Business is an easy way to earn more points and potentially get slightly better rates.
It stacks with your personal Hilton Honors benefits and gives small businesses the perks of a corporate travel program without the red tape.
It’s an easy way to double-dip on stays you were already booking, and even a few trips can make a noticeable difference in your points balance.

This leakproof silicone Tocelffe 18-Pack Travel Bottle Set ensures all your important toiletries — shampoo, conditioner, and more — are safe in your carry-on. And with the included carrying case, taking your liquids out at security is easier than ever.
