If experiencing Emirates business class has always been on your bucket list, but Dubai feels a little too far away, there’s a great deal right now that makes it much easier to try it for yourself.
Thanks to a limited-time Capital One transfer bonus, you can currently book Emirates business class from Miami to Bogotá for fewer miles than we’d normally expect — and award availability is unusually wide open, including for families.
Here’s why this Emirates deal is getting attention right now and how to book it before the transfer bonus disappears.
If you have Capital One Miles, a much cheaper way to book Emirates business class just opened up.
Normally, a one-way Emirates business-class flight from Miami to Bogotá would cost around 52,500 Skywards miles (the loyalty currency of Emirates’ frequent flyer program). And while Emirates is a Capital One transfer partner, Capital One Miles move over to Emirates at a weaker-than-ideal rate of 2:1.5 (or 1:0.75). That means you’d need to transfer roughly 70,000 Capital One miles just to book this flight through Emirates’ own loyalty program.
But there’s a much better option right now, available through another Capital One transfer partner.
You can also book Emirates flights through Qantas Frequent Flyer. Capital One Miles transfer to Qantas at a much better 1:1 ratio, and — even better — Qantas charges fewer points for this route. You’ll pay just 46,000 Qantas points one-way in Emirates business class.
Note that you'll also pay around $268 in taxes and fees on this booking — standard for Emirates awards, and still a solid deal given the cabin and the points cost.
Through May 31, Capital One is running a 20% transfer bonus to Qantas that makes this award booking even cheaper. With the bonus, you’d only need to transfer about 38,400 Capital One miles to book this flight.

That’s a huge difference compared to booking directly through Emirates Skywards.

While some airlines like Delta and United are beginning to introduce Bluetooth-enabled inflight entertainment systems, widespread adoption is still years away. That means it's nearly impossible to use your own headphones or earbuds with your plane’s seatback screen. Or is it? We’ve found a simple and affordable gadget that plugs into a standard airplane headphone jack and pairs your wireless headphones effortlessly. Whether you're on a long-haul flight or just a short domestic hop, this device ensures a seamless, wire-free audio experience.
Learn how to avoid tangled cords at 30,000 feetTo book this deal, you’ll first need transferable Capital One Miles. The easiest ways to earn them are with cards like the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and Capital One Venture X Business.
If you have a Points Path Pro membership, this is also a great time to use the browser extension while searching flights on Google Flights. It makes it much easier to compare cash fares against award pricing and quickly spot dates where Emirates business-class award space is available between Miami and Bogotá.
From there, search for Emirates award space through Qantas Frequent Flyer on the Miami-to-Bogotá route. Once you find availability, transfer 38,400 Capital One Miles to Qantas with the current 20% bonus, which will give you 46,080 Qantas points — enough to book this Emirates business-class flight.

We tested 4 different packing cubes: Which one is best? One important thing to keep in mind: Capital One transfers generally can’t be reversed, so I’d strongly recommend confirming award availability before moving your miles.
I also wouldn’t wait too long on this one. Between the limited-time transfer bonus and the unusually wide-open award space right now, this is the type of sweet spot that can disappear quickly once more travelers catch on.
