I love travel, but between long flights, busy sightseeing days, and walking miles exploring a new place, I don’t always feel my best when I’m on the road.
Over the past year, I’ve been trying to place more of an emphasis on taking care of myself while traveling. I’ve found that a few simple routines can help me feel better, from my skin to my overall well-being, even when my days are packed with activities.
With red light therapy gaining popularity, I decided to try two products from LifePro: the LumiCure Red Light Therapy Torch and the RevitaGlow Red Light Therapy Face Mask. These products let me incorporate light therapy into my routine both at home and on the road. And best of all, they’re travel-friendly, so I can easily pack them in my suitcase.
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with cells in the body. Studies have shown it can help with certain types of muscle discomfort and support improvements in skin texture, fine lines, and other signs of aging.
The potential benefits are particularly appealing when you travel. Long flights, lots of walking, and occasionally uncomfortable beds can leave me feeling less than my best. Meanwhile, changes in time zone and climate and a disrupted skincare routine can make it harder to keep my skin looking and feeling the way I want.
And since consistency is important when it comes to seeing potential benefits from light therapy, having a device I can use at home or while on the go is key.

Of the two products I tested, the LumiCure Red Light Therapy Torch is the one that immediately stands out for travel. It’s a compact, handheld device that comes with a carrying case, making it easy to pack and bring on the go.
The LumiCure is designed for targeted use and is intended to help relieve discomfort in areas such as the neck, shoulders, back, and knees.
It’s straightforward to use, with a simple handheld design and an automatic five-minute shutoff. It also comes with protective eyewear, a wrist strap, rechargeable batteries, and a travel case.
I just brought the LumiCure on a trip with me last week, although I wish I had discovered it last year on my trips to Japan and Disney where I walked more than 25,000 steps a day. After a long flight or a day spent walking around a new city, it’s nice to have a small device that can be used to target a specific area.
I’m also especially looking forward to bringing the torch with me on my ski vacations this winter. Since this is a newer product for me, I’ve yet to try it out after a long day on the slopes.
For me, the biggest selling point is its size. It’s incredibly small, making it easy to pack in my suitcase and continue with my red light therapy routine.

The RevitaGlow Red Light Therapy Face Mask is a different kind of product that specifically helps with my daily skincare routine.
The flexible silicone mask features red, blue, and green light modes. Red light is commonly used to support collagen production and improve the appearance of fine lines, while blue light is used in certain acne treatments. Green light is supposed to calm the skin and target hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.
One thing I particularly like about the RevitaGlow from a travel perspective is its shape. Although it covers the face, the flexible mask is thin and lightweight, so it doesn’t take up nearly as much room as you might expect and can lie flat at the top of your suitcase.
The cordless controller also means I can walk around or even lie in bed and not have to worry about finding an outlet. A typical session lasts 10 minutes, which I’ve found to be an easy task before bed while traveling.
I appreciate that after a full day of exploring — or even soaking in the sun on the beach — I can wear the mask as I get ready for bed.

In case you missed it...
Bilt cards are much simpler than you thinkFor me, the appeal of both products is that they make it easier to maintain some of my wellness routines while on the go.
The LumiCure is small enough that I wouldn’t think twice about packing it, and the RevitaGlow fits into my evening skincare routine without taking up much space.
If you were already interested in incorporating light therapy into your daily life, these two portable options make it easy to maintain your routine on the road.
